Klas (MD, PhD) is a Professor of Molecular Immunology at Karolinska Institute in Sweden. He specializes in cellular and molecular immunology, microbiology and cancer research. Klas has been awarded with The William B. Cooley Award for Distinguished Research in Basic and Clinical Tumor Immunology awarded by The Cancer Research Institute, New York, US in 1999.
